Meet Gianna

Founder of Liminal Flow

Certified yoga teacher, PNF stretching specialist, and Reiki practitioner. Former Division I athlete with a deep belief in compassionate, individualized care.

Gianna LaGuardia, a Colorado native and former Division I gymnast at Penn State, first discovered the depth of movement through years of intense training and competition. Gymnastics built her strength and discipline—but more importantly, it deepened her awareness of the body and its capacity to adapt, respond, and evolve.

When her gymnastics career came to an end, she found herself searching for a new way to stay connected to movement—and to herself. That search led her to yoga.

She later traveled to Bali, Indonesia, where she completed her yoga teacher training, expanding her understanding of breath, alignment, and the mind-body connection.

After moving to Chicago in 2019, Gianna began deepening her work through training in PNF stretching, drawn to its ability to create lasting change in the body. She later expanded into Reiki energy healing, allowing her to support not only physical tension, but the nervous system as a whole.

Through both one-on-one work and teaching movement throughout Chicago, she has supported clients in building strength, flexibility, and a deeper sense of connection within their bodies.

Today, her work centers on helping people feel more at home in their bodies—whether that means moving more freely, releasing long-held tension, or creating space to slow down, rest, and reconnect.

Assisted Stretch & Mobility (PNF)

PNF stretching blends passive stretching with gentle muscle activation to create lasting change in the body. Rather than forcing flexibility, this approach works with your nervous system—helping muscles release more fully, improve range of motion, and reduce tension.

Whether you're navigating chronic tightness, recovering from injury, or simply wanting to move more freely, these sessions support your body in building mobility that actually lasts.

Reiki is a gentle, hands-on practice that supports deep relaxation and nervous system regulation. Through light touch and intentional energy work, your body is guided into a state where it can soften, release, and restore.

Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, depleted, or simply in need of stillness, Reiki offers space to slow down and reconnect—with more ease, clarity, and steadiness.
